On Monday 29.09.2014, took place the Conference organized within the project Region for recycling-R4R, attended by members of the County Council of Ilfov Ilfov Environment Protection Agency, Intercommunity Development Association Ilfov - Bucharest (BUCHAREST –ILFOV REGION CONFERENCE), and the ECOTIC Association representatives of Ilfov City halls and representatives of MONBAT.
Project Regions for recycling R4R is a European project that has been carried out over a period of 3 years between 2012 and 2014, and that brought together 13 partners from France, Belgium, Denmark, Greece, Romania, Portugal, Ireland, Austria, Bulgaria and Croatia. All the partners have shared their experience with regard to municipal recycling. This project aims to improve recycling performance through an exchange of best practices. The project has been developed by an online tool (https://services.ovam.be/r4r/) that allows any local and regional authorities in the EU to compare his data with those from other regions and to identify relevant instruments that could help optimize recycling performance.
