Ministry of Environment and Climate Changes organized a public debate on the Government Decision draft on waste electrical and electronic equipment
Citizens and institutions interested may submit opinions / proposals / suggestions within 30 days from the date of publication, meaning until February 8, 2014, at the Ministry of Environment and Climate Changes, Department Waste and Hazardous Substances. ECOTIC will be actively involved and will submit opinions and suggestions regarding the proposed text and will participate in subsequent public discussions.
The new law will repeal the Government Decision no. 1037/2010 on waste electrical and electronic equipment, the background changes need to align the Romanian legislation to the European Union.
On July 27, 2012 it was published 2012/19 / EU Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council in the Official Journal of the European Union on waste electrical and electronic equipment.
