ECOTIC, Alucro, Info Cons and Hotnews.ro, under the aegis of the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, organize the 6th Edition - For a clean environment! - Awards Gala.
For a clean environment! - Awards Gala is a form of recognition and promotion of the campaigns devoted to environmental protection. Thus, the organizers award each year the best projects and examples of best practices aimed at improving environmental conditions within the local communities, and social empowerment programs developed by enterprises, public institutions, educational institutions and non-governmental organizations.
Starting with the 2009 "For a clean environment! – Awards Gala” brought together winners from both the business environment -Rompetrol, Vodafone Romania, Siemens, educational institutions, military units, but also l NGOs, such as the Let's Do It, Romania and Save the Danube and Delta. Any legal entity in Romania has the opportunity to be part of the Gala, the condition being that the project developed to target environmental protection, preservation of the planet's resources and prevent their wastage.
This year's edition takes place on the online platform dedicated “For a clean environment! – Awards Gala” http://www.galapremiilorpentrumediu.eu. Projects will be submitted by filling out the form available on http://www.galapremiilorpentrumediu.eu/inscriere-proiect. The form includes the description of the project dedicated to collecting and recycling waste, selective collection, conservation of the planet's resources and the prevention of waste, but also information about the organizers. Environmental and CSR projects will be scored according to the typology of the Organizer: companies, public institutions, educational institutions and non-governmental organizations. Registrations are made between 01 October-30 November 2014.
The organizers wish this year to highlight new initiatives, projects and relevant experience in the field of environmental protection, conservation of the planet's resources and the prevention of their wasteful consumption, developed by companies, educational institutions, public institutions and non-governmental organizations. Popularization of these practices brings closer the contribution of each of us actively involved in the consolidation of a responsible attitude towards the environment in which we live, these being examples to follow in the future.
The timing of implementation of the Gala is as follows:
• Registrations in the contest will be made up on the 30th of November 2014;
• Projects submitted on each judging category in part will be done during the 02-09 December 2014, following that on 11 December to be publicly announced the winners of the 6th Edition of the "For a clean environment! – Awards Gala”.
The jury that will determine the winners of this competition consists of representatives of the Ministry of Environment and Climate Changes, InfoCons, Alucro, ECOTIC and Hotnews.ro, as well as two public figures. The names of those who are part of the jury will be announced during 02-09 December 2014.
The prizes consist of new electronic equipment.
