Recycling Station is an information and waste collection campaign for electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), launched by OrganizaECOTIC in June 2016 and dedicated especially to the rural environment, but also to the urban environment in Romania. After passing through the counties of Iași, Brașov, Argeș and Sibiu, The Recycling Station also starts in sector 1 of Bucharest with the support of the City Hall of Sector 1, during October 5-8, 2017.
In 2017, Romania has a mandatory national target for the collection of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) of 45%. In this context, the ECOTIC Organization launched, in 2016, two national campaigns - one dedicated to the urban environment (Clean Cities) and one dedicated mainly to the rural environment (Recycling Station) meant to best cover the territory and send the message of need. proper collection and recycling of WEEE to a wider audience.
After passing through localities in Iași, Brașov, Argeș and Sibiu counties, as well as through Câmpia Turzii, the Recycling Station will reach, between October 5-8, 2017, Sector 1 of the capital. To encourage the correct delivery for recycling of used electricity and electronics, each inhabitant who will bring to the collection points in Bazilescu Park (October 5-6) and in front of the City Hall of Sector 1 (October 7-8) at least 5 kg of such waste will receive an instant prize.
The operating hours are daily, between 10:00 and 18:00.
