Between October 08 and 31, 2012, in the rural area of Iasi county, a campaign was carried out to collect electrical and electronic waste (WEEE) from the population. The campaign, organized by ECOTIC and Ecorec Recycling Bacau in partnership with the Iasi Environmental Protection Agency, aimed to increase the involvement and awareness of the local public administration and the rural population in the county in the selective collection of these types of waste for their introduction. in the capitalization and recycling circuit. Through the involvement of the County Mayors, over 8 tons of WEEE were selectively collected.
