ECO-MUSIC-ART, IOR Park

District 3 City Hall together with Arts and Cultural Center developed during August 5 to 31, in Bucharest, in IOR Park (Titan Park), an event that blends art with eco activities.

The official opening took place on Saturday, August 10, 2013, by installing the largest equestrian statue in Romania. With a height of 7.50 m without pedestal and only steel, made in ALTAX workshops, the sculpture was made by Mihaela Diaconu. TITANS HORSE sculpture opened the CREATION CAMP - 3rd MILLENNIUM SCULPTURES - ECO - MUSIC - ART

In the program are participating the following sculptors: Bogdan Hojbotă, Misha Diaconu, Carmen Tepşan, Corneliu Tache, Mara Breza and Titi Ceara. Between 5 to 31 August, sculpture workshops took place daily between 9.00 - 21.00 and every weekend between 11.00 and 13.00 were open discussions. At the end of the camp the six marble wood and steel works of arts, remain in Titan Park, for the delight of the citizens.

ECO-MUSIC-ART is an event based on an ingenious mix of sculpture, music, blended with eco and awareness raising actions on environmental issues. ECOTIC was part of the project during August 23 to 25 by distributing leaflets and balloons to the people that handed over used batteries.

WWF Romania had a conference in the afternoons of 16 and 17 August on nature conservation projects implemented in Romania, but also about the ways in which their actions can be supported by each of us.

Every weekend music was present, sculptors and volunteers joined environmentalists to support the concerts of Dan Helciug, Mihai Margineanu, Emeric Imre, El Negro, The Band.
